Central Washington made its first Lone Star Conference road trip of the year and left no doubt, dominating Western New Mexico 91-31 in Silver City. The Wildcats improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The Wildcats wasted no time, scoring five touchdowns in the first quarter alone to jump out to a 35-0 lead. Justice Taylor set the tone with a 30-yard run on the opening drive, then added another score just minutes later. Trishion Sullivan even took one back 25 yards for a pick-six early in the third quarter. On special teams, kicker David Weber stayed perfect, hitting 13-of-13 PATs on the night.
