The U-40 Bucket List Racing Team is proud to announce its return to the H1 Unlimited circuit for the 2026 season, with established driver Dylan Runne joining the team.
Owned by Kelly and Sharon Stocklin, the team elected to take a strategic pause during the 2025 season and now returns with full commitment, set to compete in pre-season testing as well as the full race schedule.
“We’re not coming back halfway,” said Kelly Stocklin. “We’re coming back to compete fully. Every race, every lap. That’s what this team is about.”
A proven contender with historic speed
The U-40 Bucket List Hydroplane remains one of the most formidable boats in recent H1 history. At Guntersville, the team recorded a remarkable lap exceeding 171 mph, a performance that still stands as a benchmark within the series.
That level of performance continues to define the expectations surrounding the team as they return to competition.

A driver who fits the vision
For the 2026 season, the team has selected Dylan Runne, a driver whose mindset, competitiveness, and strategic approach align directly with the values of Bucket List Racing.
“Dylan brings the attitude and the outlook on how to go racing that we believe in,” added the Stocklins. “His approach fits perfectly with what we want to build with this team, and we have full confidence in him behind the wheel.”
A third-generation racer with nearly 25 years of experience, Runne began competing at just nine years old in the Junior ranks. Originally from the East Coast and based in New Jersey, he has developed into one of the most complete drivers to emerge through the ranks.
Runne’s path to the top level of the sport is a unique one, having progressed step by step through the ranks, climbing every level of competition before reaching H1 Unlimited.
Runne is an 11-time national champion across multiple categories and made history in the Hydroplane Racing League by becoming the first driver to win three consecutive championships in three different classes, while also earning Driver of the Year honors in 2019.
He previously competed in H1 Unlimited during the 2023 season and now returns ready to take the next step at the sport’s highest level.

Building forward
During their time away from competition, Bucket List Racing entered a rebuilding phase, welcoming new team members and continuing to refine their program with a focus on long-term performance. Additional team announcements are expected before the end of May.
The team has also expressed enthusiasm for the new race format set to be introduced for the 2026 season, particularly the updated start procedure.
“We believe the new race format will be great for the fans and for the teams,” said the Stocklins. “It brings more clarity, more consistency, and helps reduce the risk of incidents. That’s a win for everyone.”

Runne building momentum ahead of 2026 season
During his time away from H1 Unlimited, he launched his own team in the Formula 1 Tunnel Boat series and has already seen early success in 2026, including a race win with fellow H1 driver Andrew Tate behind the wheel.

Ready for 2026
With a proven boat, a driven new lineup, and a driver aligned with their vision, the U-40 Bucket List Racing Team returns to H1 Unlimited with clear intent.
Continuous improvement remains a key objective for the team in 2026 as they continue to build and refine their program. But at its core, Bucket List Racing is a racing team, driven by competition, performance, and the pursuit of winning.
“Coming back to H1 Unlimited is a dream for me,” said Dylan Runne. “There’s still a lot to learn at this level, but we’re racers, and with this team and this boat, we’re here to push, improve, and be in the fight for wins.”
